The image shows a modern, upscale restaurant with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of a city skyline. The interior features a distinctive geometric-patterned carpet, warm recessed lighting, and several patrons seated at tables.

The late afternoon sun softens into a brilliant gold over the harbor, turning the water below into a shimmering mirror. High above the bustling streets, a gentle hush settles over the private room dining. You hear the delicate clink of crystal glasses and the quiet murmur of shared stories. Elevating a meal into an unforgettable memory requires more than just excellent food. It demands a flawless atmosphere, where the transition from daylight to dusk feels like a carefully orchestrated performance.

From here, we invite you to come sit with us (with the Bite Brigade, long time no see!) as we explore the deeply sensory, elevated world of Artemis Grill & Sky Bar, a sanctuary where culinary craft meets breathtaking altitudes.

Where the Evening Begins Above the City

The image depicts a chic rooftop lounge featuring vibrant green and blue seating arranged around an illuminated tree. Large glass walls offer an expansive view of a glowing city skyline under a deep twilight sky.

Escaping the tropical heat of the streets below feels like a beautiful release. As we step into the cool, fragrant air of the lobby, the noise of the city immediately drops away. This is not just a place to eat; it is a space designed for connection. There is an art to hosting a private dinner, a delicate balance of attentive service and unbroken intimacy. Here, the anticipation builds with every passing moment, promising an evening that honors the slow travel philosophy; taking the time to truly taste, see, and feel your surroundings.

First Steps Into the Skyline

The journey begins at 138 Market Street, right in the beating heart of the financial district. Ascending to the fortieth floor of the CapitaGreen building builds a quiet sense of thrill. When the elevator doors finally glide open, the light pours in. The space is wrapped in magnificent floor to ceiling windows, completely erasing the boundary between the elegant dining room and the vibrant city skyline outside.

Looking out over Marina Bay, you are instantly gifted with spectacular panoramic views. The beauty of Artemis Singapore lies in this very contrast: the lush, 100-year-old Spanish olive tree anchoring the indoor space against the sleek, metallic geometry of the surrounding towers. It is a stunning visual welcome that immediately tells guests they have arrived somewhere special.

A Private Room Made for the Art of Hosting

The image displays an upscale rooftop lounge with colorful seating and a large decorative tree as a focal point. Modern skyscrapers are visible through the glass perimeter, while warm lighting and plush cushions create a welcoming atmosphere for dining or drinks.

Taking a seat in a secluded space here feels like a gentle embrace. For groups wanting an exclusive retreat, artemis grill offers a private dining experience that feels genuinely personal. The choreography of the staff is flawless. They move with a quiet grace, refilling water and adjusting table settings without ever interrupting the flow of conversation.

The service never feels rushed or staged. Instead, it feels like being welcomed into a beautifully appointed private home. The high ceiling allows the ambient sound to disperse perfectly, wrapping guests in a cocoon of warmth. Whether you are gathering close friends or hosting important visitors to singapore, the pacing of the evening is entirely tailored to your rhythm.

Courses That Move with the Conversation

At the heart of the experience is the contemporary mediterranean cuisine, which focuses on fresh, vibrant ingredients prepared with profound respect. Our dinner began with the celebrated freemantle octopus. The texture was extraordinarily tender, resting on a smooth Santorini fava purée that brought a delightful earthiness to the plate. It is one of those dishes that commands a moment of quiet appreciation from the entire table.

As the evening deepened, we moved to the Australian Wagyu Côte de Bœuf, a magnificent centerpiece meant for sharing. The meat was rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly grilled, accompanied by roasted padron peppers. Next came the Black Cod, a beautifully delicate cut with a springy texture, resting in a bright yoghurt velouté. Each course was served with an unhurried elegance.

These dishes were beautifully complemented by exceptional wines, combining robust flavors with elegant, balanced finishes. The food at Artemis speaks a language of comforting luxury, valuing true taste over excessive complication.

When Dinner Drifts Toward the Sky Bar

The image features an elegant rooftop bar named Artemis, which is highlighted by a warm, glowing counter and a central decorative tree adorned with lights. Set against a backdrop of city skyscrapers, the open-air space offers a sophisticated atmosphere with modern seating and large glass railings.

As the plates are cleared, the transition to the outdoor terrace feels like a natural progression. The Artemis Grill Sky Bar is a destination in its own right. Stepping outside, you catch the soft evening breeze carrying the faint, salty scent of the harbor. The bar offers an environment that is both relaxed and incredibly chic.

The sky bar team curates an impressive selection of craft cocktails and boutique labels. We leaned against the glass barriers, watching the Singapore skyline light up one building at a time. The mood shifts effortlessly from a romantic sunset glow to a lively, vibrant energy as the night takes hold. Sip a botanical cocktail, take in the views, and let the sprawling metropolis below feel entirely yours for the night.

Planning the Perfect Sky High Gathering

If you are planning to visit Artemis Grill, a little foresight ensures a seamless evening. The restaurant thrives as a haven for milestone celebrations, romantic evenings, and meaningful group gatherings. Because the venue is so highly regarded, securing a window table requires advance booking, especially as the week draws to a close.

Here are some practical information that we have gathered for our visit:

  • We highly recommend for you to go before sundown, so you can check that sunset experience off your bucket list.

  • Cancellation of reservation could have charges so it’s always better to be sure and aware of your reservation or at least be in clear contact with the representative of Artemis.

  • For lunch, the price is around at S$57 for two courses and S$65 for three courses.

  • For dinner (the time we went there), you should expect the proce to be around S$100 above. However, we did try everything so our bill was more or less S$300 (we had a lot of cocktails!)

  • They open their lunch at 11:30AM or 5:30PM on weekdays, this can actually vary as well, so you may check their social medias and website to be sure. Actually, reservations helps you to avoid confusion with time.

  • CapitaGreen is close to both Raffles Place MRT and Telok Ayer MRT for those who’s commuting, we took the Grab going there so we haven’t necessarily tried taking the train going there.

  • A quiet Friday lunch offers a bustling, energetic slice of corporate life, while a Saturday evening leans into a more relaxed, celebratory magic.

As mentioned, reserving your table ahead of time ensures you capture the exact mood you desire. So, for our last reminder, let the staff know if you are celebrating a special occasion; their thoughtful gestures often turn a wonderful private dinner into a truly memorable event.

The Last Look Before the Lift Descends

The image shows a sophisticated dining table set with elegant seafood and meat dishes accompanied by two glasses of wine. In the background, a large window offers a stunning panoramic view of the Marina Bay Sands hotel and the surrounding cityscape in Singapore.

When the final sip of wine is gone and the city lights twinkle against the dark sky, a profound sense of satisfaction settles over the table. The true luxury of dining high above the world is the perspective it brings. It forces us to pause, to look out at the vast horizon, and to cherish the people sitting right beside us.

We invite you to pull up a chair, share a magnificent meal, and let the sky-high beauty of this beautiful rooftop sanctuary become part of your own travel story. Beautiful food, sweeping vistas, and the simple joy of a shared table await you.
